Camp dates: June 24 - July 5, M-F 9 AM - 4 PM

Summer Production Camp: Students will enroll in a 2 week camp to learn, rehearse, and perform a full length Jr. production. Students MUST be available for BOTH weeks of camp as well as tech rehearsals and shows. No exceptions. This show will have TWO casts. In order to provide the best and safest learning environment for our students, we will need to limit the number of students accepted. Therefore, we may not cast all students who audition.

Audition Info

AUDITION DATES:
Saturday, April 13 from 1 - 5 PM
Sunday, April 14 from 9 AM - 5 PM

This is an open audition for anyone ages 7-18 (18 year olds must still be in high school or have just graduated). Students auditioning will be asked to sing, dance, and possibly read lines from the script. 

  • Vocal Audition

    • Students will choose a song from the Willy Wonka Jr show tracks provided. We will play the show tracks without vocals at auditions for students to sing along to. CLICK HERE FOR TRACKS.

    • There will NOT be a piano accompanist for this audition. Students must sing a song from the tracks we have provided. 

    • PLEASE NOTE: Students wishing to be considered for both Seussical Jr and Willy Wonka Jr., will only need to sign up for one audition day and time, but must prepare a song from both shows.

  • Dance Audition:

    • Students will be asked to learn a short dance combination. Please dress to move. If you have dance shoes please bring them. If not, be prepared to dance in socks (no bare feet and no street shoes in the dance studio).

  • Cold Reading

    • Some students may be asked to read from the script. (If your student is not a strong reader, we can offer assistance.)

Rehearsal Dates

Rehearsals: Camp will be from June 24 - July 5, M-F 9 AM - 4 PM. Before and aftercare available for a fee. Students must bring a lunch, snack, and water everyday. 

Since this is a 2 week production camp, attendance is imperative. Students must be available for both weeks of camp AND tech rehearsals and shows, in order to participate. Excessive absences will result in having your role reduced, having your role reassigned, or being excused from the production with no refund.

Green Cast

Tech Rehearsal: July 4 & 5 (During Camp time)

Shows: 

  • July 6 at 2 PM

  • July 8 at 7 PM

  • July 10 at 7 PM

Purple Cast

Tech Rehearsals: July 4 & 5 (During Camp time)

Shows: 

  • July 7 at 7 PM

  • July 9 at 7 PM

  • July 11 at 7 PM

Tuition

Tuition is $450.

Upon casting, payment is required if you accept your role and wish to participate. This can be in full or as the first installment of your payment plan. Should a family accept, and then choose not to participate after the first rehearsal, a partial refund of 75% is applicable. No refunds are applicable after the second rehearsal. 

Attendance is crucial. Students must be available for both weeks of camp AND Tech rehearsals and Shows, in order to participate.
