Student Production Auditions

Wonder Theatre Academy presents four to five full-scale Student Productions per school calendar year. Each production is tailored for youth performers ages 7 - 18 (high school senior) and auditions are open to the public.

Admittance to student productions consists of an audition process and a tuition fee ranging from $450-$475. Rehearsals vary upon production but typically are held on Saturdays for ten weeks. The rehearsal process ends with a full-fledged production complete with all the theatrics you would expect from a Broadway show.

Upcoming Auditions

Sister Act JR.

Auditions: May 4 & May 10

When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.

Sweeney Todd: School Edition

Auditions: May 4 & May 10

Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth-century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett's luck sharply shifts when Todd's thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up... and the carnage has only just begun!
